Dynamic energy. Do you have solar panels and are you considering a dynamic energy contract instead over variable or fixed? I did and found out that the estimation of energy suppliers is lower than in reality. The difference between the estimation of energy suppliers and reality is larger the more solar panels you have, especially facing predominantly south. After some research, I discovered how energy suppliers calculate their estimations and why this method leads to biased (too low) estimations. The projected monthly rates seem attractive, but once you enter into a contract, the energy bill will be higher than expected.

After doing some more research, I developed a method to make more realistic estimations. I do this by differentiating between time of consumption and feeding back into the grid, thereby taking hourly changing EPEX prices into account. Having said that, it will still be an estimation but one that will lie closer to reality than that of the energy suppliers.

Based on the amount of kWhs you consume and feed back into the grid per year, I can give you an estimation of the rate for each month.
